Al-Madhoun Mosque is one of the most important archaeological sites in Taif. The mos considered one of the Islamic monuments that demonstrated the supremacy of architecture in the Ottoman era, where Taif was known for its architectural creativity from ancient civilizations and it was famous for building mosques of a historical architectural nature. The name of the mosque is due to the mountain that the mosque was built at the bottom and the color of the mountain.
